Troubles staying connected to xbox live

Hello, If you know how to get into you modem settings make sure UPnP it enabled. Also be try to be hard wired aka Ethernet Cable. If all else goes bad.. Id call up your Internet provider and report your problem.

Have you already tried contacting phone support? If so, were they able to assist you with this?

If not, here's a few questions for you to help us better understand the situation:

1. Is the Tiny Tina DLC the only thing you're having issues downloading?
2. If not, what items from the Marketplace are you having issues downloading?
3. Are you able to download free games/demos without issues?
4. I see the title of your thread is "Troubles Connecting/Staying Connected to Xbox Live" but I can't tell if you're just having issues getting DLC or if you're actually experiencing disconnects from Xbox Live entirely. Can you tell us if you're having trouble
   with Xbox Live itself as well as DLC? If so, when do these errors pop up?

Okay, first of all, please test your Xbox LIVE connection and presuming an error appears (if not, then let us know) select that error on the

Connection Error page and follow the solutions provided, specifically for that error.



To test your Xbox LIVE connection, simply follow this guide:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings and then select
   System Settings.
2. Select Network Settings.
3. Select Wired Connection (if you’re prompted to do so).
4. Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

Try
Deleting Your Profile (Profile ONLY, this will leave saved games and contents etc...)
Once you have successfully deleted your profile,
Clear System Cache 3 times (It sounds stupid to do it 3 times, but it truly does help) Now, in the first support like provided if you go to that again, there is a guide there to download your profile. (If you have already done, but didn't clear the cache
3 times...please re-try it with the exact steps given).



Also, finally, could you please perform a
Network Speed Test and post the results. This lets us know if it is your network not being speedy enough to be running Xbox LIVE.
