Troubles downloading Sleeping Dogs (GwG)

I migrated my region after "buying" the game, I am gold and I got it for free. Then, after purchasing it, I migrated my region, now in the new one I am trying to download the game but when it is about to finish (80% or so) it resets and begins again. And
if I go to my Hard Drive, the game is there (6,1GB) but it is corrupted. I have tried to download it 5 times and every time it's the same. I have tried to Clear System Cache too. I don't know what to do, I don't know if it's because I migrated the region or
what's wrong with it.

I have the same problem. I'm downloading Sleeping Dogs from Live BR and the download stops at 64%. When I try downloading it again, an error message shows up: Can't download Sleeping Dogs.

Please solve this!

 

The game is region locked. So your account region and physical location have to match in order to download the game. If you changed your region to a region that doesn't match your location, then it won't download.

Migrating your region affects some of the content you previously downloaded. It warns you to make sure everything is downloaded before you migrate because you will run into region issues when trying to download some content.

 

I migrated to my new location (Spain). So you think it is because of that? Is there any way to cancel the bought and buy it again in Spain?

 

Yes it's because of the migration. Because when you originally "purchased" it, it was purchased for the region that your account was originally made for.

You would have to create a new account to make a new purchase.

 

Well you can also change your location and time to where you bought the game or add-on whatever you're trying to download. that way you can keep your downloads and your same account even if you migrate to a new location.

 

Gh0stRoBo it does not work that way. Not trying to be rude but make sure your data is correct before posting.

 

I have the exact same problem with Mafia 2. I recently relocated to Japan with a US console and US Live account. I've been trying for days to get the damn thing to work, but it's still corrupted after multiple downloads. Bought it through Live marketplace
at a discounted rate. Talked with Microsoft support - they're supposed to get back to me in a couple days. If I find anything out I'll post here. Would appreciate the same.

 

You won't be able too in order to download region locked content your location your account location and console location all have to match up.

 

That would be true if it were region locked. From what support says it IS NOT region locked content and should be working. Aside from that Japan is an XBL download friendly country so it shouldn't matter anyway.

Also, I've downloaded multiple add-ons from the marketplace with no problem. Quite the conundrum....

Your account region has to match your actual region Japan is one of the most strict on rules for game content as per the gta 5 ban recently introduced

FYI xbox support isn't game support

The people you have to call is rock star not ms for dlc and game support for that game

Google sleeping dogs on play Asia it isn't a region free disk

And others have reported the region lock issue

.for the best experience your account region must match your actual region and In this case so does the console

FYI region locks don't apply to all games that is why some content doesn't have region locks.but due to international laws and distribution rights alot of triple a titles like cod or battlefield and gta games are region locked

 

I noticed that you both have downloaded the content again, but have you removed the corrupt content before trying to download it again?

You remove the content in Settings > System > Storage > "Your memory unit/ Harddrive" > Games and Apps. Then you select ALL corrupt files and remove them. Having one corrupt gamefile can make another download fail. Then clear the cache (have the memory unit
marked and press Y, then clear cache). Try to download the game again through your download history (Settings > Account > Download history).
