Trouble with Xbox One and Router connection

I have had this issue ever since I connected the Xbox to my new netgear router.

The Xbox One seems to have difficulty finding a connection to my router on startup even though it’s wired in. I get errors like:

1. NAT is unavailable

2. DNS cannot resolve etc etc

3. Xbox cannot connect try again later

4. Teredo issues

5. Cannot connect to DHCP

My router works perfectly with all my other devices and even my Xbox 360 has been working on occasion. I’ve used wired and wireless connections.

I’ve tried looking up this issue which seems to be frequent among users and attempted to adjust my router configuration but it all comes back to the below resolve.

The only thing that seems to work is:

1. Power cycle my Xbox

2. Power cycle my router

3. Power on my Xbox to see if it establishes connection

and that cannot be good in the long haul for any of my devices.

Nothing is wrong with my router or with my other devices or the wired port or wireless connection because my Xbox One has worked before. This is strictly an annoying and frustrating Xbox software issue that needs to be resolved ASAP.

Do you currently have your Xbox One connected wired or wireless? If you're able to, try connecting your Xbox One wired to your router, that may help with your connection troubles.

 

Connected to the internet but can't connect to Xbox Live

We are having the exact same trouble as stevierod1. One xbox one is on the other side of the wall as the router and has very few connection problems. The other is on the 2nd floor but only has a ceiling/floor in between and has multiple issues with the connection.
