  1. Trouble with Xbone media remote

Hey, does anybody know how to get the remote connected to your tv's volume? The support page for the remote was unhelpful and would like to not have to have 2 remotes with me while using the One. Thanks guys!

    :)

  2. Menu Up/Down controls don't work with cable box

Was just in a chat with customer support, and they were completely inept. They didn't seem to understand what I was asking, and just kept feeding me links to the 360 media remote product page without answering any questions. Looks like this is unsupported
and makes using my media remote impossible with the new XBone setup.

  3. Menu Up/Down controls don't work with cable box

I'm using a 360 media remote with the XBone. When Live TV is active, I can control cable box playback with the play, pause, rewind, etc. buttons. But if I open the DVR list or channel guide on my cable box (NOT the OneGuide), the menu navigation buttons
don't work. How do I configure the XBone so the remote control works properly with the cable box menus?
