Trouble with TV Display on 360...

Hi all...looking for some help.

I haven't used my Xbox 360 in several months though it has stayed connected (HDMI) to the same tv all along.

I tried using it a few days ago and noted batteries had been left in one of my wireless controllers

Corrosion cleaned up but still has issues...worry about that another time.

REAL ISSUE:

Console powers on as normal and goes to green light (no red lights) in upper left quadrant.

NO DISPLAY on tv. (NO VIDEO message on screen). TV works fine in all other aspects and with other components.

My second wireless controller also powers on and goes to green in upper left.I have tried restarts of console and the "Y button/right trigger" restart with no luck. I've basically tried anything/everything I can find without any luck.

I have swapped out HDMI cables. switched to different HDMI ports on tv...no luck.

Any advice or something I am overlooking??

Not displaying with TV.

I've basically did all the trouble shooting steps and my TV still won't display the Xbox 360. It knows it's there and sometimes after messing with the settings i can get it to blink up and display for about 2-3 seconds but it is very distorted and has a
rainbow hue to it and then disappears. It worked fine with no problems on this same TV. Then my wife wanted to move it to another TV and it didn't work on that one. So we just recently put it back in it's proper state and now it does not display. It will work
on my computer monitor just fine but no matter how i modify the settings i cant seem to get it to work on the TV. Any feedback would be helpful.

Can you please clarify what's going on with your display when you try to access the YouTube app? Are you not getting any picture or does the app not display correctly on your TV?

As a first step, please try deleting the app and redownloading it to see if that helps with your display trouble.

Have you tried a different TV? That's usually one of the last resort troubleshooting steps for no picture on the TV.

That sounds odd try changing the display settings to 1080p on the front room tv then move it to the tv you normally have it hooked up to. Also what kind of tvs are you using this can help trouble shoot the issue.

I don't know about the TV-sets you are referring to but I had no trouble calibrating my TV for the Xbox using Spyder. Normally the corrections are done to the display, not the source. On PC you need to change the settings of your video card ONLY IF your
display doesn't have good enough adjustments.

It is also possible that since it is a Playstation 3D Display TV as opposed to a normal TV that it is not compatible at all with the Xbox 360.

The best setup is to have your 360 display settings match your HDTV's native resolution.

Meaning if you have a 720p TV, set the 360 to display in 720p as well.
