Trouble with Roblox on XBOX ONE X

Hi,

my granddaughter has been palying Roblox on the PC faultlessly for a long time, but now, after 2 days playing it on the XBOX X one, after starting the game, an "Error 115" and "Unable to join" message keeps popping up, also telling us to join and pay for
a Gold scheme.

I have read through some articles and watched some Youtube films, but they all send me to options I don't seem to have, like signing in to my account and then going to "Family", which I cannot find anywhere.

A Youtube film sends us through the privacy settings and then also to options for sharing which do not exist on my machine.

Are there so many hidden settings on the XBOX or what exactly is the problem?

Needless to say, of course, my granddaughter is getting very upset.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Sorry, but Roblox is supposed to be a free game, so I have no intention of getting a gold subscription.

While Roblox is a free game, you need to have a Gold subscription to use any of the online services. Your Grandaughter was able to play for the past 2 days due to it being a "Free Play Weekend". Online play was free for the past 2 days.

 

OK, I had no idea.

Funnily enough it works on the PC without any restrictions, any idea why that is?

Thank you for reaching out to us! Based on what you stated as the issue, it must be asked if when your granddaughter is signing in on the Xbox One X she is signing into the exact same profile (same email and password as on the PC). Also, is the profile that
she uses on the PC one that already has a subscription? Or if she has a child account, then what is the adult account that is signing in to allow her access?

Parity is correct in letting you know that ROBLOX would need Xbox Live Gold in order to play in an online multiplayer setting via the console. The game is indeed free to own; however, in order to engage in multiplayer online play, you would need a subscription
to Xbox Live Gold, hence the message that you get popping up while on the console. There is a different version of ROBLOX for PC that is completely free so I can understand where the confusion lies about the need for a subscription to play.
