Trouble with Red Dead Redemption2 disc

Kindly try installing the game in 'offline mode'. This will stop the game from installing updates during the installation and simply install the data from the disc. You will then need to complete an update while online.

Also, download the Xbox App on your phone or tablet and link the app to your Xbox. Via the Xbox App you can download any Xbox game direct to the console (you can even download games you don't own digitally). Once the download has been completed, simply insert your game disc to start the game.

If neither of the above options work, try to refresh your operating system and delete all potentially corrupted data that restricts you from using your console normally without deleting your games or apps.​​​​​​​

NOTE: Make sure that you know your account logins before doing this step. Also, this will remove all your Home Xbox associations.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.

3. On the Reset your console? screen, you'll select Reset and keep my games & apps.

I recommend red dead redemption2

This is normal. Not many games mine does this but Red Dead Redemption2 is one of them. It's a high resource game requiring a lot of power.

It’s not the cloud that is getting to me I’ve got Fortnite ,call of duty modern warfare 2 and red dead redemption2 and it keeps doing the same thing over and over again shouod I just get a expansion card?

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY is another I've noticed make the fans spin up, but not as much as RDR2 which seemed to constantly spin when there was lots going on.
