Trouble with parental controls and adding credit card

So I've been trying to add a credit card onto my account. We've tried 4 different cards, but we keep getting the same message that says something to the effect of "use a different payment method." This has been going on for a few weeks now, and I decided
to actually try and add the credit card online as oppossed to on the console. But when I go to attempt to add a card, it requires me to sign in with the parental email that is associated with my account (that being my mother's old email which she can no longer
access). I went through the process of changing the email on that account because she could not remember the old one, and when I try to sign in with that parental email when i am prompted to do so, it just brings me back to the same page indefinitely and I
cannot proceed. It's as if it is either not taking the email I'm giving it, or it's asking me to enter a parental email for the parental email that I'm trying to enter. It's just been a never ending circle of frustration. Please help.

Why does it ask for a credit card for free GTA DLC?

Check the parental controls of your System. If there is something in there about paying with a credit card for downloadable content, there you go.

Trouble adding a credit card.

I'm having issues adding a credit card as a payment option because the post code of the billing address is too long to fit in the allotted space. My account was set up in The Netherlands but now i have Turkish billing address and the post code requires 9
characters(including a space) and the form will only allow me 8. I've tried changing my region to Turkey but that doesn't help.

I've also tried using the Support pages of the website and fruitlessly tried to contact support but that part of the website is utterly ineffectual as i can't get through enough of the drop down menus to contact anyone.

Any ideas anyone?

if you mean with one of my parents adding a credit/debit card then no, my parents wouldn't put details like that on an xbox

Who is paying whom for what?

If you mean the credit card charge from parents when they add a child account, this is just to prevent kids from "borrowing" their parent's credit card, and creating an adult account themselves, to take over control of their child account.

If the parents see a suspicious charge from Microsoft on their Credit Card, they will wonder why it's there and then find that their kid tried to circumvent the parental controls without the parent's knowing.
