Trouble with my debit card payment....!

    Hello there,

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! When trying to make a payment or charge something to your card, are you trying to do so on your console or computer through the website? If you're trying to buy something through the website, maybe try a different
browser. If you're trying on the console, I would suggest
    Power cycling
your console as a troubleshooting step.

It's also recommended to check to make sure that your billing address on your account is the same as the one associated with your bank. If you want additional assistance you can try to

    Contact Support
    for further assistance.

    Try this:

    • Log into Support.Xbox.com
    • Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
    • Step 1: Click on Ask a Question
    • Step 2 : Select your Product
    • Step 3 : Select your Issue
      • Select – Call me back

Hope this helps and Thank you again for posting on Xbox Forums!

I need assistance please, keep getting the Oops, not sure what happened there message,

Now it says it's having trouble processing payments even though I have funds on my debit card plus I have funds on my Microsoft account. And my account is not suspended, and I don't have any late payments.

    Microsoft Points.

While the Xbox Billing system is not set up to specifically accept Debit cards, they can work for purchases. I often use my Visa Debit for purchases on Xbox.

Although if a Debit card does not work then there is not much anyone can do, the officially supported methods of payment are Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Paypal.

If you are haveing trouble with a Debit card you could try linking that to a Paypal account and then the Paypal to the Xbox account. Or just use Pre Paid Codes.

Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes

    Step 3-----select show contact options

How do I get my original debit card to work again

Hello Timothy C, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

If you're having trouble getting your original debit card to work as a payment method with Microsoft, even though it works fine for other transactions, you can try the following steps:

    1. Make sure you have entered the correct debit card details, including the card number, expiration date, and CVV code. Even a small error in any of these details can result in a payment failure. Verify the information and re-enter it carefully.

    2. If there have been any changes to your debit card, such as a new expiration date or a reissued card, make sure you update the payment information in your Microsoft account accordingly. Outdated card information can cause payment failures.

    3. Clear the cache and cookies of your web browser or the Microsoft Store app. Sometimes, stored data can interfere with payment processing. After clearing the cache and cookies, try adding your debit card as a payment method again.

    4. If the issue persists, consider using an alternative payment method, such as a different debit card or a credit card. This can help determine if the problem lies specifically with your original debit card or if it's a broader issue with your Microsoft account or the payment system.

    5. Reach out to your bank or the card issuer to inquire if there are any restrictions or issues with using your debit card for online purchases, specifically with Microsoft. They can provide insight into any potential blocks or limitations on your card.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.
    Best regards.
