Trouble with multiple Xbox Ones on same network

Okay, so I have three Xbox Ones connected to my home network. I had some issues with getting all three to have open NAT types, and found a post that solved that problem, for a while.

The post (can't remember where it was so I can't link it) said to toggle UPNP on my router, set energy saving power modes on all three consoles, which in return would give an open NAT to them. It worked, but only for a little bit. After a while, they would
switch back to strict NATs. Having to reset the UPNP option on the router and rebooting all the Xboxes several times a day shouldn't be something I have to do on a $400 machine. Is there any other way to get all three to have open NATs and STAY that way?

Also, unless all three consoles are turned on at the same time, they will get booted. For example, if Xbox A and Xbox B are on and playing, and Xbox C is booted up, all Xboxes get kicked off of Xbox Live. What's up with this????

BTW, the consoles are not assigned static IPs since UPNP does not require it.

that's the thing, in this case the active gold account is mine not hers, can I have her account as main account on 2nd xbox then mine with gold as secondary?

As I said I original post, the box we already have has my account with main and gold and her account is 2ndary

If I have two xbox ones can I use only one xbox gold account?

xbox one will have my tag with gold as Home xbox (primary) and a 2nd account (my gf)

Can my 2nd xbox have my gf as home xbox and me as 2nd account, this will share all the games on both xboxs but will mf gf need to have a gold account?

Hi,

So I would suggest to try the below steps to avoid this kind of issue:

• • Don't modifiy any network settings for console A and keep UPnP enabled.
  • Assign a static IP address to console B and C, then set up rules to open all needed ports on console B and set up a DMZ assigning console C IP address.
    

 

If it worked for a while with UPnP then it could just be due to the IP addresses changing.

Some routers really do need you to use a static ip with UPnP to stop the NAT changing.

The static IP should be set in the router address reservation or DHCP reservation options though and not in the console itself. The IP settings in the console should be left as automatic.

Using DMZ and port forwarding will likely make the problem worse with most routers
