Trouble with multiple accounts

First a bit of backstory. I created this account () back in the original Xbox days. Fast forward to a couple of years ago and some security stuff changed, yet my email account linked to it was inaccessible. I worried I wouldn't be able to fix it
by linking to a new email account and dragged my feet and played offline, and didn't try until a month ago when I heard inactive accounts would be deleted. I discovered just how easy it actually was to change email accounts and felt stupid afterwards for waiting
for years to even try.

The process worked and as of today, the email in my inbox says "Good news! The waiting period you started 30 days ago is over, and your old security info has been replaced. No further action is required." Problem is during this waiting period, that backwards
compatibility sale was happening and my account was barred from purchases for those 30 days, and I didn't want to miss out. So I created a second account on a new 500 gig 360 that had been sitting in its box for over a year and made those purchases (Atariboy2600Jr).

Got a bit flustered though with some error messages during account creation and instead of my alternate gmail address, I accidentally registered it to to the exact same gmail address that I had requested this Xbox Live account () to be changed to that
I'm now posting from. Curious how Xbox Live would handle this, I attempted to log into my secondary account just now, and it says my new account was suspended, with the only possibility being the shared email address. Exact error message is "Someone may have
used your account *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** to send out a lot of junk messages or done something else that violates the Microsoft Services Agreement."

What happens if I enter my cellphone for a text message like it prompts me to in order to unlock it? Atariboy2600Jr won't become the sole Xbox Live account on record linked to this email address, will it? I have so many purchases made on ,that I'm
afraid I'll lose it and don't want to proceed without confirmation.

So can two Xbox Live accounts be linked to the same email? If not, how do I get out of this conundrum with my two accounts intact but tied to two separate email addresses like I originally meant to do?

Trouble with multiple xboxes

After much trouble shooting, it looks like the culprit was actually a saved game that got corrupted transferring from one Xbox to another. That's why my NAT appeared as open, but one Xbox couldn't connect. It was simply a coincidence that the issues started
around the same time as us getting a new gateway.

I figured it out by trying to play split screen multiplayer Halo 4 on one Xbox, but couldn't until my wife signed out. We signed her into the other Xbox in the house and our problems were solved. I didn't know that a corrupt save game could affect matchmaking,
but you learn something every day.
