Trouble with latency any suggestions?

Sadly it's just my xbox on the network :/ hooked up a buddies xbox to it and he read the same speeds, I'm curious as to what everyone else is getting on xbox 360 at testmy.net through Internet Explorer on the xbox. I just don't know what to do anymore I
feel as if the multi player experience is ruined for me. I'm not sure if it's just because the new systems have came out they aren't putting effort into the old server anymore but I can't figure out why it is the way it is.

I had that same problem to what I did is I started turning off all of the cell phones and note pads.that seemed to clear it up plus every time I turn off my Xbox I do a hard reset that seems to help as well...hope you get it fix

i am having the same trouble on a wired connection also. 160ms latency on my xbox but only 10ms on my laptop that is also a wired connection to the same router, any ideas??

Every gamertag has a Microsoft Account ID which uses an email address as its name (formerly the Windows Live ID).

To recover your LIVE account with the Xbox subscription you must have the Microsoft Account ID email address and its passsword. Once you have both you can change the Microsoft Account ID for your gamertag but not before. When
you do change it, you keep your games, your downloads, achievements and gamerscore.

However, it sounds as if you do not know your Microsoft Account ID and/or its password. Is that correct? If that's the case, then sign in at your Xbox360, then tap on the silver guide button in the middle of your Xbox controller
and go two clicks to the right to Settings. From Settings, choose Account Management, then go another two clicks to the right for Account Security and choose it, then pick Change Windows LIVE ID. That will then show you what your current Microsoft Account
name is.

When you make a new Microsoft Account and logged into Xbox.com with it, it automatically generated a gamertag for you (it's randomly generated and can be changed once for free). If you wish to use this e-mail for your other account, you will need to follow
the instructions listed on this page here to free this e-mail up so it can be used for your other account by following the directions
here (you'll want to take a look under "Switch gamertags between two Microsoft Accounts").

If for some reason your getting an error changing your e-mail on the console for your first account you will need to try filling out the Microsoft Account Recovery form so you can switch the e-mail of the invalid e-mail and change it to a valid e-mail.

Please click this link here, once your at that page you want to click "I think someone else is using my Microsoft account"
and click Reset Password. Enter in the e-mail for the account, and then click "I can't use any of these options", follow through with the prompts on the rest of the pages and you'll be asked to fill in a form with as much information
as possible. This form is the only way to change the e-mail if you are unable to do so on the console.
