Trouble with kinect with a speech inpediment

I am having trouble with my kinect and i believe it is because i have a clift-lift palllet and my speech is hard to clarify some times. Is there a way to get my voice to accurately hear my voice or did i get the kinect with my xbox-one for no reason? i
don't use it for virtual commands.

Benefits of always having Kinect

Bruno, speech recognition can also be done with a normal mic, all the Kinect voice recognition can be done without additional hardware that they sold with the Kinect 1.0.

One of the many reason I hate living overseas...

With kinect it is affected by the region of your account as it is online specific

Every kinect supported country supports only a set languages

only english Regions support english kinect

German support german

France supports french

support.xbox.com/.../speech-recognition

Is the list of kinect supported regions and what languages they support english isnt supported by kinect in germany

Kinect is geoip specific so even changing uk wont help you

Just to add on ^ there are some games that don't seem to pick up sound either. I know when I first played Titanfall that I couldn't hear anyone and no one could hear me (in game chat). I am sure that's been addressed now but also, don't forget to remember
that some people may be in party too so you wouldn't hear them regardless

From Xbox Home:

1.) Press the menu (start) button

2.) Go to settings

3.) Go to Kinect

4.) Check the box that says "use kinect microphone for chat"

5.) Do not use kinect microphone for chat. It sounds bad and you will annoy the fecal matter out of your friends when they hear every little thing happening in your house.
