Trouble with Gold Membership

Hi!

Just added a 3 Month Gold Membership via prepaid card to my account successfully, but can´t download mirrors edge for free unfortunately yet. It shows me i have to pay like 19,99 €. So what shall i do to "solve" this issue or do i simply have to wait until
my account will be activated? Subscription status says im in. Dunno what to do next. Thanks

Trouble with gold membership

So I got a year membership xbox live gold and I tried putting in the code on my xbox one. To my disappointment it said "this card is not activated, see merchant to activate code" I would go check but I can't until later. So, I tried redeeming it online and
it showed 'error. There was a problem, check back later' so I check back an hour or so and still nothing. I checked any fees and even went onto a friends account to see if that was the problem, nope. I took off my account from my XB1 and reentered it in as
told by support and still, nothing. My XB1 is up to date and doesn't need updates, I hope I can get this solved and not get ripped off of $60+ dollars

Netflix on 360

Yes, it is available without a Gold membership now. And the 360 has an enormous library of titles at this point. You'd have no trouble finding things to play.

A long as your account has an gold membership you should have no trouble to send messages.

Yes, it takes a Gold membership to play online.

Is that the issue or are you having trouble connecting to live at all?

Ok, so you updated your email, and paid for a Gold membership, but put the Gold membership on the wrong account?

If that is the case, that is unfortunate as Gold memberships are not transferable between accounts.

If I am off, please clarify, and we can work from there.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. In order to share a Gold membership you would need to have the account that has the Gold membership be set as Home on the console. You can follow the steps at this link to set the account as Home https://support.xbox.com/games/game-setup/my-home-xbox

Please be aware that the sharing feature is only available on the Xbox One console and is not for the 360. As well, the Gold membership will not work if the gamertags that do not have a gold membership are playing a backwards compatible title.
