Trouble with disc downloading

It seems that right now there is an outage for Xbox Live services due to lot of players are contacting us regarding the same.

The best option for now is try waiting couple minutes or 1 hour to see if the outage finally can be fixed and try again (this is an estimated time, there is no ETA yet)

I'm having the same problem with halo reach free download except the disc won't work either. All other downloads and discs work fine but not halo reach. The Microsoft people can't even tell me what's wrong with it. I've done all the trouble shooting and
nothing works.

G'day Frosty, sorry to hear about the troubles. Is your game running on disc or is it downloaded? Was there any change after performing the factory reset mentioned by diemadedrei?

I thin Miss Ermine is asking if you've downloaded CoD2 directly into your harddrive.

In the past, if I was having a bit of trouble with a particular game, I'd download it directly into the harddrive. I'd of course put the disc into the disc tray when I was ready to go, but play it from the harddrive. This usually resloved my problem when
I was playing a 'well loved' Halo Reach disc.
