Trouble with A button in menu

I'm having an issue where when I'm on the menu, I can't select things by pressing the A button unless I mash it repeatedly. This problem does not occur when I'm in game, only the xbox one's menu? Anybody else have this problem?

I had the same issue. Trouble shoot menu reset will fix it. I messed around with this for 2hrs. Took OSU1 to fail and OSU2 to fail for me to find out about the trouble shoot menu. I used the "keep games and app" option. To get to trouble shoot menu:

Power cycle or remove from power source for 30secs

Turn on while holding bind and eject buttons

On 2nd chime, release buttons

You are at trouble shoot menu

Should work. I was angry worked 3, 12hr days to come home and not be able to play. The above steps should help.

To delete things, you press the menu button whilst hovering over the icon to bring a sub-menu where you will see the option to uninstall.

What trouble are you having with Smartglass? Perhaps we can help?

 

Im having the same issue, But only when 2 controllers are on!

Anyone have any ideas?

support desk seems clueless, can navigate around and highlight stuff but unable to select it!!

 

Still Having this issue, even after replacing xbox one with another!!!

Same problem here. Rebooting the console by unplugging the power will restore the function for shot time.
