Im getting the error code: 0x8B05007E 0x00000000 0x0000001

I can't find that error code anywhere to help see what it means

It's alright, I actually don't know what would happen if the user did download any of those. Just letting you know for future reference

Verachi - Anything you just posted wouldn't work for him as 0000 (the second set of numbers) aren't even listed as one of the suggested codes to use for those steps. That specific error code isn't actually listed on the system update error page.

Hi LeastRaccoon585,

The error code shows up when the console failed to update. The usual workaround for this is via, either resetting console to factory settings(keep my apps and games) OR have your console updated with the latest updates. Hope this helps.

Hi! I'm sorry to hear that you have this issue, to start off please turn off your xbox completely and then unplug the powerbank for 15 seconds. If this option does not work and the error code reappears again, please contact xbox ambassadors again. Best of

Hello there!

Have a look at
Mister Gwyther's Issues Installing Update page! There you will find a numerous amount of solutions and troubleshoot steps regarding the issues users face with downloading the update!

Also, try Deleting your Profile (Delete/ Download Xbox LIVE Profile) Make sure you delete the Profile only and not its contents.

Once you have done that,
Clear System Cache 3 times!

Now that you have done that, download your profile again. (The links provided should assist you in doing so).

my suggestion is to remove the hd and reset it, here ill post link for you

support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive

that should fix your issue if it doesnt please let us know.
