Trouble turning Xbox on from app

Sorry to hear that, do you know if in your house the internet is fine?

May I know if you already tried sign out from your account on the Xbox app and sign in to see if you're able to turn on your console via remote play?

Another option to see if maybe there is a connection issue with the console, try using another device to see how it goes

Can you expand a bit? Are you having trouble streaming from the Xbox to the Xbox app? Is this a problem with the Xbox itself not being able to launch the apps? Try hard resetting the console (hold the power button down until the Xbox turns off). Let us know

I try to use the youtube app and then my system turns off..... I did all the required trouble shooting and still can not use my favorite app this blows.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Are you able to download the Xbox (beta) app from the Store? If so, does streaming in the beta app work as expected?

Hard reset the xbox by holding the power button until it completely turns off or unplug it from the power source for 30 seconds. Then turn it on this way. Push and hold the bind and eject buttons. While those buttons are being held, push the power button
to turn it on. Keep holding the bind and eject buttons. The xbox will chime twice, release the bind and eject buttons. You will be at the trouble shoot menu. Pick reset xbox. Here you can choose "keep games and apps" or "keep nothing". This will reset your
xbox to factory defaults with or without your games and apps based on your selection. I was struck with a corrupted system file from my preview alpha skip a head dashboard. I had to do this.
