Trouble turning my xbox one on....

I have to unplug my xbox almost every time I want to use it now, last night I had an update download while I fell asleep in which I know my xbox turned off an hour or so after the update was done. Sometimes my xbox will just turn off and I have to sit there
and wait with it unplugged. It seems like it's overheating but why would it over heat with nothing causing heat next to it and nothing to trap the heat around it, both the console and the power supply.

XBox One having trouble turning on

My xbox one has been running fine for about a year now, but just this week I was having trouble turn it on. When I turn the console on the power light will turn on and the power brick will show a white light as well, but the tv just shows a black screen.
When I try to turn the controller on it will blink for about a minute and turn off. I have checked all USB cords and power cords, which are all plugged in properly. I hav tried to power cycle it multiple times. This has been going on for almost two weeks now
and any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

i have had a similar problem, the best solution i would offer is to contact support to see if your warranty in still valid and ask them to send you a new power supply brick as this was the issue for my xbox one.

That is a Hardware issue with your power brick or your console. You should contact support to see if you have warranty and send it out to them to look at it.

i had trouble getting my friend on zombies then he turned off his xbox then he could get on then he had trouble getting online did it again and both worked try turning off your xbox?

its a waste of time my friend. takes for ever to earn enough to get anything worth the trouble. in fact xbox live has now become a waste. dont even turn my one one these days. thinking of switching to playstation
