Trouble syncing second controller

I am having a difficult time getting the second controller to sync using the normal method..........light on controller just continues to blink. Controller will work if hard wired but not work wirelessly/synced.

Any ideas?

Xbox controller not syncing

Hey there Gamer! Do you have trouble syncing any other controllers to the console? How about if you try syncing this controller to another console entirely? Let me know how these tests go and we can figure out if this is a fault of the controller or the

Keep getting an Error Message

ive played fine all night just stared getting this message after syncing second controller, anyone figure out what it is yet?

When holding the sync buttons on the console and controller, the light blinks on the controller as if it is going through the syncing but then the light will start to blink steady or rapidly.........I did insert new batteries.....

Sorry to hear it. Is the controller an official Xbox One controller? If you are having trouble connecting it try holding the sync buttons on both the console and the controller at the same time for at least 60 seconds to see if that helps

Hello noraanderer, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your controller.

First, please try powercycling your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it for 30 seconds before trying again. If you're still having trouble with you turn the console back on try holding the sync buttons on both the console and the controller at the same time for a minimum of 60 seconds.

If you have other controllers connected to the console please ensure they are turned off or disconnected.

You have to sync your second controller, via the Xbox One's sync button on the left, and the controller's sync button on the top.
