    Trouble switching from TV back to XBOX


    I have an XBOX One connected to my tv and the cable box connected to my XBOX. When I want to switch and watch TV I am able to just fine. However when I want to switch back to the XBOX nothing works. The controllers don't seem to do anything, I am able
    to cycle the XBOX between sleep mode and that will eventually bring up the home screen with the TV in the main window and at this point I lose sound and still the controllers do not work (I have checked their batteries and tried re-syncing them to no avail).
    The only thing that works is hard resetting the XBOX. This is obviously not how it is is supposed to work and I need help figuring out what is going wrong.

    xbox one TV in 50hz, System on 60hz || germany

    hello, got a new xbox one last week and everything is just fine. tv works as aspected and the 50hz problem regarding tv in europe also is solved.. so the picture quality is fine..

    BUT: when i'm switching back from tv to startmenue the screen always turns black because the tv is switching back to 60hz...

    is it possible to set the Video Output of the xbox one to permanently 50 hz ??? otherwhise the fluid transitions are not possible...

    Newbie question: Switching back to television mode

    Hey there. I have a Westinghouse TV. My dish is connected via HDMI, but the xbox is connected via the composite AV cable that came with the xbox. Yes, the issue is only with switching from the xbox back to tv. It switches TO xbox just fine.

    also try to unplug tv, then plug back in, turn xbox and tv on and let it set in the black screen for 5 min then pull xbox HDMI cable out of TV and switch the port and then switch tv input , see if any change

    Try making sure the switch on you AV cords are switched from Regular tv to HDTV sometimes its the simple fixes if you were using the it on the tv before and that switch wasn't changed back it may well be what you need !

    Try switching the Xbox to 1080p on the TV that works and try and plug it back into the new TV. Sometimes the newer TV only accept a 4K signal from a very specific HDMI in port. Make sure you are using that specific port.
