trouble suspending/resuming games

I've had my xbox one for about a week now, and I've noticed that I'm not able to properly suspend/resume games and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and hopefully fixed.

The problem:

I wake my xbox one up from sleep, the UI loads and it seems like I'm not signed in, give it 5-10 seconds and the UI shuffles around a bit, then I'm signed in. I then resume a game (Tomb Raider lately) and the game immediately goes to the title screen with
a message "the status of the profile has changed, returning to title screen". This happens with all of my digital games, including Halo MCC, usually the error message is something about active profile changing. This seems to not happen with my only disc-based
game (Sunset Overdrive)

My setup:

- my xbox one is my home xbox

- my security settings are set to "no barriers"

- my xbox live account is set to instant sign-on

- power mode is set to instant-on

- I've power cycled the console several times.

Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for any help

Resuming Games from External HD

I have no problems suspending and resuming a game. Sometime even days later.

Auto download of games that are purchased remotely?

Suspend/resume of games was always going to be there Det. It was one of the things I was most looking forward to about the console.

I see that you question was not answered. I'm having sort of the same issue. But my XBOX One will not resume at all when in "instant mode" I have to actually unplug/plug the power cord to get the XBOX to start up. Also it's intermittent when this happens.
I decided to change the power from "instant on" to normal power setting (where the XBOX turns) and I have no issues starting it up.

The suspend and resume feature is handled differently by different games (probably due to their resource requirements). Games like Forza 5 and Battlefield 4 seem to struggle with the suspend and resume feature but other games I have had resume the next day
after using multiple other apps.

So i am not alone in this and suspend and resume is not actually functioning as intended?

Is this a known bug in the system?

Have MS officially commented on the subject?

Suspend and resume was one of the big features of the X1.

I googled and binged for hours and couldn't find one report of suspend and resume not working.

I accept that things can go wrong with a console as complex and ambitious as the new Xbox, but suspend/resume always fails me, day in day out.

In fact it happened again just before i started writing this.

I am very impressed with the system, kinect, twitch streaming, t.v intergration,games, visuals (have you seen Ryse?!) and MS's system updates have improved the experience greatly.

But suspend resume is a tad disapointing.

If it can't be relied upon, if you risk losing progress, then it might as well not even be there.

I've actually contacted MS Support for this, which they had no response to. They believe that it may be related to the huge update they released.
