Trouble signing into my account

I wanted to try to play a game today after a year of not even touching my Xbox 360 (too busy) with people online before the game's server is shut down at the end of the month but it won't let me sign into my account without verifying via email, text or call.

Problem is, I added a second email address last time I actively played on the console over a year ago and have added a phone number plus added the verification code texted to me by Microsoft but it still keeps coming up with the same "Yes, This Works" etc
message and won't let me into my account to buy Xbox Live so that I can get online (it's important because as I said, the game servers I want to play on shut down at the end of this month and I have someone expecting me online this afternoon to play with them).

All I seem to get when checking the "account.live.com/" address that keeps being suggested on my Xbox 360 is a message telling me that security verification will take until October 3rd but that I can still access my account and Live. Problem is, no I can't.
It won't let me sign in without adding another email and phone number but I have 2 email addresses linked to the account already and just added my phone number so what the hell is going on? How can I fix this so that I can be online as expected at 4pm (it's
currently 1:21pm)?

Hi there xMija! Can I have you visit accounts.live.com and check to ensure all your information is accurate and up to date! Also check to make sure that there are no notifications of messages on the account!

Never mind, finally got myself through the wall of BS but it reminded me why myself and others I know stopped playing our 360s in the first place when we kept being asked for this constantly every time we logged on, despite giving every detail Microsoft
wanted. I was half expecting to be asked for my blood type and for a sample of DNA to verify my account.

 

You can always change the settings for single sign-on and to remember you for instant connection. If you are not aware of how to do this I would be glad to help here is one to help get started:
