    Trouble Signing in When Playing 360 titles on my Xbox One


    I am trying to play Fallout: New Vegas on my Xbox One and when I try to sign in it gives me this message: "Sorry, this profile can't connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again."

    However, when i try to download my profile again, it gives me the same message. Please help, thanks.

    My son was playing COD AW and was playing some other person in a one on one match. Well smack talk was exchanged and the person said something to my son about booting him and all of a sudden his xbox 360 disconnect from xbox live. He had trouble signing
    back in for a few minutes. Can somebody actually do this?

    I'm having trouble signing into xbox live on my Xbox 360. I have an old 360 so it doesn't have wireless, but whenever I try signing in it pops up with that message. I tried deleting my profile and clearing the cache 3 times, but when I went to download my
    profile it tells me I can't connect to Xbox Live. I also have an Xbox One with the same profile that can connect via wireless but not wired. Any ideas?

    I guess it would sign you out on the 360 when you play a bc title on your one because there is a pop up that says singned in on xbox live..

    How do you create a save file for a backwards compatible game without using an existing save from an Xbox 360 on the cloud?

    This often applies when your profile is signed into Xbox One but not the Xbox 360 emulation used to play backwards compatible titles. When launching a backwards compatible title such as Borderlands, make sure you press the Menu and View buttons at the same
    time to bring up the 360 Guide. If it notes "Connect to Xbox Live", then your profile is not properly signed in and will not record game saves.

    Are you trying to sign in on an xbox 360 or are you trying to play a backwards compatible game and having trouble trying to sign into your account through an xbox one?

    Hi Bmac,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, Xbox one titles are not playable on an Xbox 360. The only other titles able to play on an Xbox 360 is the original Xbox titles that are available. Backward compatible ramps up to the next gen console basically.
    Original Xbox>360>Xbox one>then Scarlett when it comes out.

    Is it just an issue playing the 360 Games with Gold titles on your 360, or are you also having trouble claiming them in the first place?

    When it comes to redeeming the games, I believe you need an active payment method / credit card on your account.
