Trouble selecting a game to play

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums, I'd be happy to answer that.

Unfortunately, there isn't a specific random game generator feature on the Xbox that would launch a random game from your installed library, although that would be a pretty nice feature as I also tend to have problems choosing a game to play and sticking
with it because I just want to do so many different things that I can't decide. I recommend posting this idea over on
Xbox Ideas or

Xbox Requests on Reddit to potentially get some traction in getting this feature added in a future update, maybe in the Games and Apps library they could add a button to suggest a game to play based on your previous play sessions or what your friends are
playing.

There are some alternatives you can try that I found doing a quick search. If you own the Xbox Game Pass subscription, you can select an option in the Guide that will pick a random game from the Game Pass catalog that you can launch if downloaded or
download if you don't have it yet. Just press the Xbox button and in the Guide scroll down to the Game Pass & Gold button and select it. Once the screen loads, you will see a "Surprise me!" button which will generate a random game from the catalog.

Another alternative is the "Next achievements" feature found under the Achievements tab from the Xbox Guide. This will filter your achievements in a way where you can see which ones are closest to unlock, and if you're an achievement hunter like myself,
this can help you choose a game to play if you're feeling like unlocking some achievements. I also found that Cortana should be able to launch a random game from your hard drive, although I've never tested this out personally. Turn Cortana on if you have it
disabled and say into your headset, "Hey Cortana, play a game", which should launch a random game installed in the hard drive.

Yes. I understand. Like a child in a candy shop. Which one to pick? Only random thing to select is in your mind dear friend, set your priorities. But, let me tell you one thing. Gaming is not just gaming. Like you, I also like to collect games. Like any
other hobby.

Stamps for example. That is also part of gaming. If you like it, off course.

So, take a deep breath, collect, and give something a chance. Just drive Forza 4 and admire the graphics, effort put in the creation of that wonderful world, etc..

P.S. I can see now while I have posted this, that my friend Njal the Blue found a solution for you.

If you are subscribed to Game Pass, open the guide, scroll to the Gold and Game Pass section at the bottom. Open that and scroll to the bottom and there is a parcel box icon and "Surprise me" That is the only place I have seen where you can get a random
game suggestion.

I think every gamer has this problem. I have close to 300 digital games sometimes have a problem choosing what game to play. And sometimes it hard to stick to one game especially when you have so many to play.

As of right now there isnt any random game selector program or app available. The only solution I can give you is write all your game on a cut up piece of paper. Get a bowl or something to keep the papers in. Then select a piece of paper and whatever game
is listed on it>>>play it. I know this might be time consuming but it can help.

What game are you having trouble with? There might be an in-game setting to select languages.
