Trouble retrieving my latest saved data

So this started for me yesterday where when I start up one of my Xbox One games I get a message that reads "We couldn't get your latest saved data. Try again or use this game or app offline." When I click try again it quickly flashes to a screen that says
"Synching data for *whatever game I am trying*". The Synching screen disappears before even a quarter of a second and I am taken back to the " We couldn't get your latest saved data" screen.

The wierd thing is that I transfered my account onto my brothers Xbox One as a test and everything worked fine on his so it must be a problem with my console exclusively. I would like help fixing this without having to set my Xbox back to the factory default
because I am not going to spend my day off tomorrow downloading all of my games again. That's just not going down.

I can play all of my games offline which isn't a problem when playing a game like The Walking Dead but obviously I can't play things like the Halo 5 multiplayer.

So yea, any advice?

cloud saving on XBOX ONE

i had to reinstall a game on xbox one and i lost my progress i looked online and it said that it automatically saves to the cloud or hard drive and then it syncs to the cloud. i have no idea how to access the cloud or anything. i called support and they said that hard drive saves are only for 360. how do i retrieve the data?

Saved Data Won't Load

My Forza Horizon 3 saved data won't load. I tried hard reseting my xbox and uninstall reinstall the game and still not loading my saved data. I chatted with support about this and gave me some trouble shooting steps but did not help.

Try resetting your Xbox by holding the power button on front of the Xbox until it turns off then unplug it for 5 - 10 mins

Failing that go into manage game then delete your save from console only then try again

Just resumed play after work but am getting a message saying "Syncing Data for Halo Master Chief Collection" followed by "Unable to retrieve latest save game data. Try again or continue offline."

If I continue offline, all my cross-game achievement progress will be lost won't it?

Unless you had the save backed up somewhere, there is no way to retrieve that data.

Nixelplex

The saved data is in the cloud, so if you did a factory reset then you would be able to retrieve the data by just logging in with his account.
