TROUBLE REDEEMING DIGITAL CODE

I have been trying to redeem an online digital code for Xbox (not xbox live). I have purchased a $70 code. When I enter the code to redeem it, microsoft/xbox recognizes the monetary amount but it won't add it to my account. I have been trying to add this
for quite some time and this is the message I keep receiving:

Try that again
Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help.

Trouble redeeming digital codes

My digital code isn't working. I think it's short a few numbers because the dashes are out of place from the code shown. How should I go about this??

 

How to Redeem a Code on Xbox One - QR Code or 25 Character Code

Hey guys! Okay, so you need to figure out how to redeem codes on the Xbox One? Well, there are a few ways of doing this.

1.

• Login to Xbox.com (top right hand side)
• In the top bar, mouse over Xbox Live Gold
• You'll see 'Redeem Code' in the drop down list
• Click 'Redeem' and enter your 25 digit code!

If your code is a game or DLC, it will automatically start downloading once you login to your Xbox, unless you have your Xbox in standby, which will allow it to download right away!

• From the main page of the Xbox One dashboard, scroll to the right to the 'Games' section and select that section -or- If your Kinect is connected, say "Xbox, Use a Code"
• If you have a QR code (that square looking code thing), you can hold it up to your Kinect to redeem it.
• If you have a 25 digit code, in the lower left of the screen, you have the option to "enter the 25-character code." Click that and enter your code. Confirm your code and you're all set!

Your item will automatically download. Enjoy!

If that fails please check the following:

Remeeming errors can be caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check if your billing information is correct at
http://billing.microsoft.com and also check
http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues, these need to be sorted prior to being able to redeem codes.

After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

Also check that the Xbox Live account , the console and code all match region wise, using different regions for any of them cause issues too.
