    Hello

    I hope someone can help me. I just purchased a six month xBox Live Gold card from my local Best Buy. I entered the code on the xBox and was told an error occurred and to try again later. I have done so and nothing has changed. I tried to enter it online and
    have received this message:

    Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred. The error has been recorded and we will investigate. Please try to redeem your code later.

    I tried to look up the "error code" and nothing came up.

    I have not entered any payment information in my system and do not plan on doing so. The whole point of getting the card was to avoid this issue.

    Hello. I recently bought an Xbox Live card, and when redeeming it, it recognizes it as a 12 month subscription, but says "Something Went Wrong" when redeeming. Error code: 0x801650C8

    Having trouble redeeming my prepaid code to renew my 12 months of Xbox Live Gold.

    I have tried to renew on the Xbox and the Microsoft Website.

    The code has been checked my Microsoft and it is valid as well as it has not been used.

    My Xbox Live Gold ended today, I have a confirmation email as well as Microsoft support confirming it has ended. But, when I now enter my code to be redeemed a message says that I have an existing subscription which is stopping me from redeeming my code.

    Can anyone help?

    This matters sometimes when you purchase a subscription or service through Xbox Live, for example the Rewards Programs only Rewards codes at the 15th of every month, so this may be the same deal, if you purchased the subscription the codes wont be able to
    be sent to you until the 15th of the following month. When you purchased the Six Month Subscription did you read any documentation that was with it? Such as when you'd receive the codes?

    Hi, in general, you can redeem another Xbox Live Gold code while your current subscription is active, and it will extend your subscription by the number of months for the code- in other words, if your current subscription expires at the end of December 2018
    and you redeem a 12-month code, your subscription would then expire at the end of December 2019. There are a couple potential constraints that might apply, so I'll list them just in case:

    -You can't redeem a trial code for Xbox Live Gold while you have a current subscription. You could redeem a trial code if your current subscription expires.

    -You can stack up to three years of Xbox Live Gold on one account- you might run into an error if you try to redeem something and it would push the expiration date beyond three years from today. You can check the current expiration date of your subscription
