it may potentially be a defective code but i would try power cycling your console or getting in touch with the store you got it from!

Where did you purchase the card and have you still got the reciept for it?

Hard reset the console and see if it works after that. I've had similar issues happen to me and this has worked before

power cycling your console. Sometimes takes a few minutes for a subscription to activate. Also make sure the code was not for currency.
