Trouble recovering my Xbox live account

I've been trying to recover my Xbox live account for some time now, my issue is that I can't recall the Email I used to make it. Any suggestions or info will be greatly appreciated.

Trouble recovering account

I just bought a second xbox so I can LAN with my girlfriend. I am the gold family pass account holder. I am trying to recover her gamertag (a secondary profile in my family pass) onto the new xbox. It has been stuck at around 20% for nearly an hour.
She has a Gamerscore around 2000. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to download the primary account first? If I need to download the primary account, can I play with the account on the old xbox while it is being recovered on the new xbox? Any feedback
would be appreciated.

You click on "My Account" on the top right corner on here.

Then there is a list that is called "Safety" in that list you find:

"Find the Microsoft account associated with my subscription"

The Microsoft account is also your e-mail.

If you wanna do it on your console you go to :

Profile, Account Security, Display Microsoft Account

This should tell you your email address too.

Unfortunately it's a different account to this one which I owned on a previous Xbox but no longer have access to

Hello there "BlackLusterBob", I am sorry to hear about your problem. I am sorry but there is nothing we can do any further on the XBOX LIVE forums, I suggest that if you have your GamerTag still and remember some information on that account, call Microsoft
(1-800-4-My-Xbox). They will most likely not give you the e-mail address unless you know most information on it, such as secret questions, credit card number, paypal, etc. I hope this has answered your question and has helped you out with your problem. Have

The only way to recover an XBOX Live account is by inputting the correct e-mail and password into the download profile window. If you are having troubles recovering the account to do an incorrect e-mail then please contact phone support. If you are able
to provide them matching information to the gamertag then they can help you recover the account. If you cannot then there's nothing they would be able to do as there's no way to tell if you own the account or not.
