Trouble re-downloading my profile to my xbox.

You may see the following error message when you try to download your profile on Xbox Live:

Solutions

Solution 1: Verify the information for your Microsoft account

To resolve this issue, verify the information in your Microsoft account. To do this, follow these steps:

1. In a browser, sign in to your Microsoft account.
   
2. Note If you forgot your password or cannot sign in by using your password, see Reset your password.
   
3. Note any error messages that are displayed.
4. After you resolve any errors, verify the information in your Microsoft account. For example, verify the billing information or the information in the Password and security info section.
   
5. Sign out of your Microsoft account, and then sign in again.
6. On your console, sign in to Xbox Live and try to download your profile again.
   

Solution 2: Change your Microsoft account password

1. In a browser, go to your My account page.
   
2. Click Change password.
3. Type your current password and a new password, and then click Save.
4. Sign out of your Microsoft account and then sign in again.
5. On your console, sign in to Xbox Live and try to download your profile again.

I believe that particular error code is to do with verification of your email address for your Microsoft account.

try logging in with your credentials to
http://login.live.com and see if your mail ID is verified.

Another thing to try is the good old "clear cache three times" by following these steps:

Sorry to hear you're having connection troubles with the games you mentioned. Since this began, have you tried redownloading your profile to see if there's any change? To re-download your profile, press the Xbox button and select the option to download a profile,
then enter your Xbox Live sign-in information.

Thanks for replying. Although I didn't try re-downloading my profile, I was able to fix my problem by clearing my cache while trying to fix a separate problem, the games I had trouble with re-updated and I was able to play online again.

Still having the same trouble today that this original poster had. I am having trouble starting Netflix. Although my Xbox recognizes my gold membership, Netflix bounces me to the 'upgrade' screen. I tried re-downloading my profile, but that didn't work.
