Trouble playing cross platform with family on Minecraft.

My parents are playing on an ipad and an xbox one, and i’m playing on switch. They connect to their world perfectly fine, but i cant see any of their invites after letting everything fully load. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi!

You should check if all the devices are connected with a Microsoft account while playing minecraft, and check if all the devices have the same version of the game, also check if no one is in a minecraft insider sometimes that can cause problem to play with
others.

Otherwise you should try to contact xbox support ( https://beta.support.xbox.com/ )

As I understand the question, you are wondering if the reason why you can't see your friends Minecraft realm, recently created on xbox one, is because you are using a mac. I do nto believe this is the case. I think the reason you are having trouble is a
conflict of edition and not really hardware. The minecraft now being played on xbox and pocket edition is based on what is called the bedrock version of minecraft. I can only assume that the version you are running on your pc (mac) is the Java edition. If
you check the version you are running on people and compare it to the version on your pc, I believe you will find your problem. Hope this helped.

Yes and no. The game in question needs to have cross-platform enabled, like Fortnite or Minecraft.

Games that do not support cross-play you will not be able to play with other platforms.

Minecraft Java edition is not cross-play enabled. You would need Minecraft for Windows 10 to play with friends on other platforms.
