Trouble playing a game

I've been having trouble playing Destiny 2 since the Beyond Light update. It tells me that my internet connection is bad but my router and motem are just fine. Also when launching the game, I get kicked out of party chats due to an error. I've tried resetting
my internet and console a couple times with no success. What should I do and how do I resolve this issue?

It worked for about ten minutes, but then the game started messing up the exact same way.

I'm having this same issue. Any game I try to play it simply pulls it up for a few seconds then goes back home.

Sorry to hear it. Please try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

That should fix the issue for you.

Some troubleshooting things to try:

Check your gamepass subscription hasn't expired.
Check your connection to Xbox Live.
Restart your xbox.

Sometimes rights issues happen due to issues with the Xbox servers so rebooting or waiting a little while can help.
