Trouble making this my home Xbox

Hey, so every time I click "make this my home Xbox" it looks like it works but when I go to the home screen or to play a game and go back it's like I never clicked it. It will say I still have my 4 switchs left but never actually use them, I had this Xbox
for my home Xbox for a long time and for some reason it just decided to switch it self, I need help switching it back to the way it was so I can play my games on both Xboxs and not just one or it defeats the purpose of having two. I had tried hard reset and
deleting my profile and redownloading. Any ideas?

Game sharing between 3 friends is it possible??

Three of us plan on game sharing all of our games we plan on making one another xbox a home xbox is this possible any trouble any issues that may arise.we all trust one another help please?

you could consider doing a full Factory Reset on the console, since the full one will remove the Home console setting too, but before you try that you might want to contact Xbox Support first via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat.

To see if there are any other things you can try or then can check.

Sorry to hear it. If the only downloadable option is for the beta then that's all he has.

That's not how Home Xbox works, and he never had access to your games. Downloading his profile to your Xbox does not give him access to your games on his Xbox.

And deleting his account won't make the game playable by your account; the game is still owned by his account (the licence is attached to his profile), so to play the game he would also need to be logged in on your Xbox while you play.

Changing *your* profile's Home Xbox affects only where the games *you* purchased can be played, it does not allow you to play games that you downloaded using someone else's account.

This issue is linked with your account, but I just confirmed by calling into Xbox Support that they can reset the "3 time per year" counter associated with the account.

She deleted my gold subscription in the process, but we eventually got everything worked out and I could then set my Xbox back to "my home Xbox".
