Trouble launching games for gold game. I have gold subscription but says I haven't - 0x803f800b

When trying to play games for gold games the game instantly closes and displays an error message explaining I require Xbox live gold to play this game. Error code: 0x803f800b

I have an active Xbox live gold subscription with over 12 months remaining prepaid.

Tried the basic restarting, reinstalling game etc, no luck so far! Any help, insight or resolution would be appreciated!

Error while starting my digitally downloaded games.

I am getting a error while starting my digitally downloaded games "that i need manage my subscriptions" with error code "0x803f800b"

but i have my Xbox One Live Gold subscription valid till April 2018.

I have an active xbox live gold subscription but I see a warning message when I try to start a game that I downloaded with "game with gold" in the section. "ready to download" or similar. Error code 0x8037ef or 0x803f800b

i might have a clue on what happened here,

when i go to Services & subscriptions' page, on my microsoft account, below the Xbox Live Gold's subscription section, it says:

Enjoy the benefits of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold Upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

so maybe my xbox live gold subscription is turned into a Gold + Game pass subscription, but how? I haven't done anything...
