    Trouble keeping connected to xbox live!


    I have the xbox 360 Arcade (yes, very old but still works). I just switched homes, but still have the same service provider. Connection done via wireless adapter.

    At first i was unable to connect, NAT errors. I deleted my profiles, cleared the storage cache, enabled UPnP on the Gateway, at restarted all devices. (Unplugged the gateway and xbox for 1 minute then turned them.) All errors were fixed and i was playing
    a few matches.

    I can play 1 or 2 matches fine then it disconnects me from live and sends me in probation! When i go to the network and connect it tells me there's matchmaking problems. Usually i clear the cache and restore the network and reconnect. After waiting 5 minutes
    i am able to play one or two more games. Then it kicks me off.

    WTF is the problem, it worked seamlessly at the other house? No errors, just disconnects me from live.

    Hopefully someone can help so i can play.

    Frequent disconnects from Xbox live

    I have 3 Xboxes around the house and I have had problems keeping connected to XBOX live for the last few weeks. Everything has been fine until I allowed the most recent updates. As soon as I update, the console that received the updates has trouble staying
    connected. It disconnects from XBOX live then I do the network test and everything checks out then I can connect to Live again. Whatever was in the updates, screwed things up bad.

    Trouble keeping connected to xbox live!

    Hello, B1GdN1CK!

    I see that you are having random disconnections. To fix this what you want to do is clear the
    Console Cache    . To clear it go to the storage menu. Then, Press Y on a storage device (not the cloud). After that, Select "Clear System Cache". Lastly, Confirm it with a yes.

    Once that is done you will have to Re-download your profile. To do this go
    to the sign in or out screen and go all the way to the right. It will have you type in your email and password to start the download. (DO NOT DELETE THE PROFILE)

    These steps should stabilize your connection.
