trouble installing

    trouble installing


    not sure if this is the right place to post this but I just got a new copy of assassin's creed rogue only to realize it wont install, it gets to 96 percent and then says the disk cannot be read. all my other games install fine. I played rogue for about an
    hour to test it and it works fine, but I'm wondering if the games inability to install means the game might become unplayable in the near future or something like that

    Trouble installing games.

    Hi all, having a similar issue. When I try to play Fifa 15 which I have played for a while, it says ' installation stopped.' An error screen appears saying that the game appears to be corrupt with the error code x80070570. When I re-launch the installation,
    it appears that there is nothing left to download as the game says ' ready to play'. However shortly after, 'installation stopped' appears again with the same error screen. Please help! Very frustrating.

    Trouble installing games.

    I am having the same issue since around the april time frame. I finally got shadows of mordor to work though I didn't do anything special. One day it just downloaded normally. Right now I am trying to install far cry 4 and it is at 100% but keep stopping

    Are you trying to install this game on Xbox One or on an Xbox 360 console? Are you seeing any errors when the installation stops? Are other games installing without any issues?

    It was on my Xbox 360, I have not tried it on my Xbox one yet. no errors just that the disk cant be read. all my other 360 games install fine

    I was trying to install it to my 360 . It works on my Xbox one. there are no errors displayed, just that it cant be installed. all my other 360 games install fine

    Thanks for the details,

    Was this a brand new and sealed copy of Assassin's Creed Rogue or a pre-owned copy? I wonder if the disc may be defective since others are working. Are you able to pay the game without installing the game to the hard drive?

    Thanks for answering, it was preowned from Best Buy. I played about an hour with the game uninstalled and it worked fine.

    Hmm, since it seems to work uninstalled, I would just play it that way. If the issue persists though, you might want to look at exchanging it for another one to see if it helps.

    Trouble With Installations

    UPDATE:

    Forza 5 did in fact finish installing this time around. It hung up at like 92% and I had to enable my internet connection again and re-try install from that point a couple of times. Installation completed, now it is downloading updates.

    So maybe my Halo MCC disc is messed up? I still find it really strange that I've had problems with just about every game I ever bought for my Xbox One.

    Hello Calgamr,

    Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

    I can see that you are having trouble installing Fallout 4 on your PC. This error code usually indicates that you do not have the required permissions to access the game files or folders. To fix this issue, please follow these steps:



    1. Make sure you are signed in to the Microsoft Store app with the same account that you used to purchase Fallout 4.

    2. Right-click on the Start menu and select Settings.

    3. Click on Apps and then on Apps & features.

    4. Find Fallout 4 in the list and click on it.

    5. Click on Advanced options and then on Repair.

    6. Wait for the repair process to complete and then try to install the game again.
