Trouble installing update

Basically I'm trying to install an update for Fallout 4 at 11gb onto an external drive with over 2tb free and for some reason my console keeps saying I need to free up more space even though it is my default place to install anything..

Are you still having trouble installing the update? If you're still having trouble please try uninstalling the game completely and re-install it. Let us know if that helps

Forza 5 Update Error.

Update:

After re-installing the game and reconnecting to the internet the game is now updating properly..'

Hi try clearing the MAC address. To clear the MAC address
- Go to settings -All settings- Network - Advanced network , Alternate Mac Address - clear. Your Xbox will restart

You may also want to adjust your DNS settings too. I change mine periodically since they seem to fluctuate.

Try Changing the DNS. I use Google DNS.

From the Xbox One home screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings.)
From there, enter the Primary DNS as "8.8.8.8" and the Secondary DNS as "8.8.4.4"

If you want to change your current DNS server to Google Public DNS, you will need to change your IP addresses to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. (IPV4)

Google Public DNS also provides support for IPv6 connectivity so if you meet the necessary requirements for setting up an IPv6 connection, you will have to alter your IP address accordingly.

For IPv6: 2001:4860:4860::8888 and/or 2001:4860:4860::8844
