    My son downloaded gta online. Realises it was wrong one so brought GTA 5 but everything with try and install the disc it keeps reinstalling the online game and and when his friends invite him it takes him to the store like he hasn't got the game

    Alright. Please perform a powercycle on the console and then try launching the game again.

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    Thank you so much for that you've mentioned this is a disc game, correct? Is this for the Xbox Series X|S console?

    There is also an Xbox One version of the game which may be causing the issue.

    If you can send a photo of the disc case that would be great. Kindly hide any personal information that may be visible.
