Trouble Installing DLC Through Game Pass

That's odd.. You should be able to download the DLC through the in-game store if you bought the season pass. It sounds weird, but can you try re-installing the season pass again?

All your progress is saved on the servers, so you'll be fine. The Ultimate Edition of FH4 includes all DLC and car packs / VIP Pass, so all of that would be installed, the base game you already have won't be installed again.

I play also through Game Pass and recently bought the DLC expansion for Fortune Island, please feel free to upgrade and enjoy the game.

To clarify, the season pass itself wouldn't need installing - it's just a license that grants you access to DLC as the DLC is released. It may not have a tile associated with it when you
manage add-ons for a game, but as long as it's showing on your account, it should still give you access to DLC that's granted by the season pass, as it releases.

I just checked and it appears this game is no longer offered through Game Pass. Games are periodically added and removed from Game Pass. So unfortunately, they aren't yours to play forever. It's similar to how shows and movies are added and removed from
Netflix. Since the game is no longer available on Game Pass, the game will have to be purchased to play any DLC. That's just the nature of it. Sorry you've had trouble!

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. As long as you download the game, they will be able to use the DLC for the game. Once installed it acts as if they own through the home sharing so it will work. Remember though with game pass, games do
get removed and changed out. So if the game isn't purchased they will own that DLC but wont have the game for the extra content unless the game is purchased.

Which usually can get games at a discount through game pass.
