Trouble getting content

So I tried downloading the 'Unique Unit: Honor Guard' and 'Unique Unit: Fireball Warthog' add-ons for Halo Wars, but it won't work.

On the Xbox One, I select 'Show Price'. I then get the screen asking me to 'Continue' or 'Cancel' (no price is displayed, but I presume these add-ons are free?). I press continue, but get the message: 'This offer is not valid in your region'.

On the Xbox Website, I don't even get that far. I click 'Buy Now', but just get the a generic 'page not found' page.

Now, I suppose it's possible the Xbox is confused about my region because I moved to the US from the UK some years ago, but I haven't had any problems like this in the past, and I have purchased and downloaded a lot of content.

We have the same problem in Romania. I can only download Fable Anniversary and Fable 3. NOT THE FABLE 2. Fable Trilogy is region locked, and they are not telling you this before you buy it. Thanks a lot.

(btw i can download Fable 2 individually ..so Fable 2 is not locked ..but Fable trilogy is)

Yeah, as far as I can tell, I have the correct region, but you never know if you've triggered some bug where something is getting registered properly.

In any case, like I said, I've never had any problem until now, so it might be nothing to do with that at all.

 

You have to check commerce.microsoft.com

And no changing your console region won't change your account region

You need to use the region migration tool found under account and change my region which can only be done every 3months

 

The region locks online apply to triple a games from xbox 360 it doesn't apply to xbox one that would be why

 

The account page is rather ambiguous about region, but it does say 'US - Personal account' at the top. I'm pretty sure I have the right region, because I'm pretty sure I just created a whole new account when I moved to the US (though it has been a long time
so I wasn't totally sure).

I'm pretty sure that my account region is the United States, though I can't find anything that unambiguously says so. My language settings on this website keep reverting to 'English (United Kingdom)' even though I've changed it multiple times, though I don't
think that would cause a problem. In any case, I'm pretty sure I created my current account in the US after moving here.

My ISP might be a problem, because Hughesnet is a satellite internet provider, and I've had some trouble with websites misidentifying my location because of that in the past. However, the usual problem is that the internet thinks I'm in Texas or whatever,
not another country/region.

However, I've been happily purchasing and downloading content within the last week, and for years prior.

 

That means you have a split billing account or you didn't use the region migration took

You cannot change your region by using the console please follow the steps listed above about the region migration tool

As mentioned before the xbox one marketplace isn't the same as 360 you need to match your regions

 

That's why you didn't have issues with ones games it only affects major 360 titles

 

I didn't use the region migration tool because it didn't work--I just got an error message. Besides, every indication is that I have the correct region. I haven't tried to do anything though the console, but only through the websites.

Anyway, I have been buying games and DLC for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One without a problem until now. So far as I can tell, this problem is only afflicting these very particular DLCs.

 

No if you are reverting back to the UK them its not working

The xbox one marketplace isn't the same and is transitient meaning you can change at anytime but the 360 ismt

If you are getting errors you must contact support to help you make the migrstion

 

Not all 360 games are region locked however halo and many triple a titles are just not all of them

 

For the best experience with xbox live your account region must reflect your actual region
