Trouble figuring out how to reset my xbox 360

I am not big on Xbox one because I only had my xbox 360 for 1 year now. But I want to reset because I try many things to erase few I don't need on there. Its pointless because i don't have harddrive but I know how to add back my accounts if I
restart it. I don't want mess it up either.

How do I set password to block child from buying games I cant afford?

Having trouble figuring out how to set a password to stop my children buying games an downloading them.Does anyone know how to do this?

You can reset by:

1) Go to System Settings > Console Settings

2) Make a note of the Console Serial number under System Info

3) Go to Memory and press Y

4) Select Format (Make sure you don't leave anything you don't want to be deleted on the console.)

5) Enter Serial Number, and you should be good!

Note: this will not delete your accounts so you should have no issues getting them back from the cloud.

How many lights come on? Go through this trouble shoot. It will help you figure out what's going on. I'm assuming you have the original 360.

I was trying to figure out how to transfer my Minecraft world from my xbox 360 to my xbox one. In doing so I had some trouble figuring out how to actually start the transfer. I went to

support.xbox.com/.../minecraft-dlc-save-transfer and followed the steps. Now no where in the support page does it mention how to access the " save transfer area."

After that simple follow what it says in the troubleshooting and youll be golden.

Just thought id share with anyone that might have had the same issue.
