    Trouble Downloading Season Pass - Tales From the Borderlands


    I tried downloading the Season Pass for "Tales From the Borderlands" yesterday and had the download fluctuate between 0-1% before crapping out with an error message that it can't download. Sometimes it says it downloads properly and reaches 100%, but it
    only downloads 56kb or the 108kb files size, and the Season Pass is not recognized when I load up the trial version game. I also had this experience with some Grid Autosport DLC two months ago and it took several weeks to get resolved. Based on everyone else's
    comments to that forum post, and the ones I'm reading elsewhere in the forums about downloading problems, this seems to be an ongoing Xbox Live issue and doesn't have anything to do with the DLC or Live Arcade game files themselves. I've downloaded other content
    in the past two months without issues, but now this problem has happened to me twice and I hope it doesn't take several weeks to get it fixed this time. I've contacted Xbox Support, who couldn't help, and checked the forums for this issue, but no one seems
    to have an answer. I've also tried clearing the cache, rebooting my Xbox, deleting/retrieving my gamer profile, trying the download from different screens, waiting a day . . . all to no avail. I'm starting to get afraid of downloading anything from Xbox Live
    again, since this has happened twice and seems to be occurring for others as well. Up until two months ago, I haven't had any download issues on Xbox Live in the six or more years I've owned the console.

    Telltale Collection On Xbox One Issue

    Same issue here.

    I purchased TellTale Collection, but Tales from the Borderlands season pass never downloaded to my Xbox One.

    When I select manage Telltale Collection, Tales from the borderlands season pass is not included in the purchased files.

    When I find Tales from The Borderlands at Xbox Store, It is not unlocked and still asks me to pay €12,74 to buy it.

    Please fix this issue.

    Yes, after checking out the Telltale Games forums, I found out that you have to pay for Episode 1 and the Season Pass separately (which is very misleading for a Season Pass not to include all episodes). However, that still doesn't fix the issue with the
    Season Pass not downloading properly. It's only 108kb and it won't download.

    I also see that they've clarified the wording on their Season Pass description on Xbox Live to state that it only covers Episodes 2-5 now. This wasn't stated on the original description when I purchased the Season Pass two days ago.

    Hey there, MIRAN 0019! Very sorry to see you are having download issues with the Season Pass for Tales from the Borderlands! I just want to make sure we've got everything covered before we bubble this up to the appropriate teams.

    I see that you've done all the normal troubleshooting with your profile. The one thing I want to make sure you've tried is downloading it to another storage device. Once you've tried that, we'll be able to work on getting this sorted for you.

    I have the exact same issue. I've tried everything - bought the full game and all. I haven't booted it up yet, because I don't want to have all these achievements I should be able to get, but can't because it won't download a 108 KB file.

    I'm having the same issue: just bought the season pass, the download hovers around 1% then gives me a "Can't download" error. I can confirm downloading to another storage device doesn't help. This topic is over 6 months old, any chance a solution was ever

    I have the same problem here - purchased both episode one and the season pass on xbox one separately when tales from borderlands came out, the season pass didn't seem to download properly but managed to get episode one downloaded. Played through episode
    one no problems, however when I go back in to the store to download the season pass again it claims I need to pay for it even though I've done so already. It's the Australia store for me

    If I go to the season pass page on xbox.com when logged in I get "Uh oh... that should not have happened. It appears you have found a glitch in the system."

    Telltale have noticed the problem too:

    There is something wrong with this bundle, It specifies that you get Tales from the borderlands season pass but you do not, I just spend hours trying to resolve this with Microsoft Xbox-live support. The kicker is that one of the main reason for me to purchased
    this bundle was Tales from the borderlands. It does not add the season pass to your download queue and when you go into the collection and click on manage Walking Dead Season 1 and Season 2, The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones and
    Game of thrones season pass is there but no season pass for tales from the borderlands, in the end Microsoft cancel my digital license to items is the collection and refunded the purchased price. But that still does not make up for the fact wasted hours trying
    to resolve the gigs of bandwidth wasted trying download the games and no i do not have unlimited internet i pay and additional fee for every gig over 100gb on a per month basis. In the end i get a wasted Saturday afternoon with tons of frustration and no

    This is a know issue as stated above, since these forums and Telltale Games' forums have been riddled with this very same question since day one. However there is still something to be resolved!

    When purchasing the Telltale bundle it states you will receive the whole games for Walking Dead Season 1, Walking Dead Season 2, Wolf Among Us. It also States you will receive the First episode of Game of Thrones, the Game of Thrones Season Pass, First Episode
    of Tales of the Borderlands and the Tale of the Borderlands Season Pass.

    I purchased this bundle along with everyone else for the xbox one, even though I have all these games on the xbox 360, I enjoyed them enough to buy them again. When purchasing the bundle all the games showed up in my Games and Apps download queue. Everything
    EXCEPT Tales of the borderlands season pass. All the games downloaded and installed. Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2 and the Wolf Among Us all were complete seasons when purchased, so they download as a full game with no addons. Only Game of Thrones and Tales
    of the Borderlands required anything extra and that was the Season Pass for both games. Game of thrones downloaded the Season Pass and when I check the season pass in the Xbox Store, it shows up as free and manage, since I have it flagged on my account as
    being purchased. When I enter the Game of Thrones game and go to the download content, it shows all the rest of the episodes as upcoming and show them as being free and states I am a Season Pass holder. This is working correctly, that is how all these games
    should look with a Season pass.

    When I look at the Tales of the Borderlands Season pass in the Xbox Store, it states I must pay $14.99 to purchase, not showing free/manage like the Game of Thrones Season Pass. When I enter the Tales of the Borderlands game and go to download content, it
    shows all the upcoming episodes and needing to be purchased and show a price for them and also the Season Pass. Unlike Game of Thrones which is flagged as purchased, it states I must still purchase the episodes or the Season pass again for Tale of the Borderlands.

    The Xbox Account, Xbox Store and the game for the Tales of the Borderlands is not showing as flagged for the Season Pass. So unless this is fixed, when the second episode for Tales of the Borderlands arrive in a week or two, myself and other in this situation
    will not be able to download it without purchasing it a second time. This is not resolved and ignoring it until it really becomes an issue when the second episode is released is unacceptable.
