Trouble downloading NHL 14

I have and that didn't work. What did work for me was deleting what there was of the game, clearing system cache, resetting my console, beginning the download and then turning the 360 off so it turned into a background download.

Whether or not that was actually the fix I don't know, but I have been trying to download the game for 6 days and it finally works.

Have you tried deleting the download off your console, and clearing your system cache? Then re-download it. See if that helps.

It's still saying "The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again." Which I have done a couple times now, I'm lost...but to go back to my first post, would formatting my hard drive help at all?

That certainly is odd.

If it is an issue with your hard drive, I don't think that formatting it would help resolve things.

You said that you've had issue with demos before but do you have any issues playing other things you download from the marketplace like trailers or arcade games?

Something that would help to determine if it is that hard drive would be to download the Demo onto a

USB drive and try launching it from there.

• You may also want to try playing the demo on a different profile on your console.

Have you tried deleting your profile, clearing your system cache, and re-downloading your profile? Follow these steps:



Sign out of your profile:

1) Press the Xbox Guide button in the middle of your Xbox controller and Press the Blue X to
Sign Out



Delete Profile:

1) Press the Xbox Guide button in the middle of your Xbox controller

2) Scroll right and go to the Settings tab, and then select System Settings

3) Select Storage

4) Select the device with your profile

5) Select Profiles

6) Select your Gamer Tag

7) Select Delete

8) Select Delete Profile Only



Clear System Cache:

1) Scroll right and go to the Settings tab, and then select System Settings

2) Select Hard Drive

3) Highlight Hard Drive, and press Y (Device Options)

4) Select Clear System Cache and select Yes

5) Repeat steps 2 thru 4 two more times so that your Cache is cleared 3 times

Turn off your console and start it back up.

Download Profile:

1) Press the Xbox Guide button in the middle of your Xbox 360 controller

2) On the Home tab, select Download Profile

If that doesn't work then try deleting the demo and downloading it again. Let us know if this resolves your problem.
