Trouble downloading games on Xbox Gamepass (PC Issue) Error 0x00000001

First, welcome to the Xbox community. Thank you for reporting that you managed to resolve the issue, yes normally this error code is related to the Gaming Services application, if this happens again, please try the procedure below.

Go to Windows settings

Applications

Applications and Features

Look for Gaming Services

Click on it

Advanced options

Tap repair

Usually, this solves too

Nevermind everyone I fixed it. if anyone has this problem too, open windows powershell as administrator, and copy and paste this in, Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

That fixed it for me.

I'm having the same exact issue. Every game I try to download gives me "Error code: 0x00000001". I've made sure both the app and my PC are up to date.

download the xbox app and sign in with your account that has gamepass pc, then download the games from gamepass pc.
