Trouble downloading for License Transfer

Hello everyone,

So I am trying to License Transfer the Devastation DLC for CoD Ghosts,

but we are having difficulties allowing me to download his profile onto my xbox.

I keep receiving the Error code: 80151012

We went to xboxlive to see the solutions and he has reset his password and did solution 1 option 1.

It is still not working. I even turned off my xbox and reset the cache.

What could be the problem? His profile starts downloading but about a quarter of the way stops and the "sorry something is wrong with your profile" happens

Transfering licenses

You are allowed to transfer license if it is for your own use but only every 4 month so really you shouldnt have any trouble downloading your dlc at your friends house.

Help transferring game?

Doctor Cyrus,

Did you do a license transfer before or after downloading the game? The reason I ask is because after doing a license transfer, you will always need to download the content again to update the local licenses. Since you've already done a license transfer
go ahead and try re-downloading the game again and let us know if this fixes the problem for you. Thanks,

That error means there is an issue with the gamertag

support.xbox.com/.../error-code-80151012

However, what you're describing sounds like you are trying to license transfer a game that someone else purchased to your console.

If this is the case be aware that this is considered marketplace theft and if caught (by doing something like posting it on the forums) you and your friend risk having your consoles and/or gamertags banned from the live service entirely.

What game is it you are having trouble with?

I have no trouble playing my Games on Demand (Mass Effect, Lego Star Wars TCS and Burnout Paradise) offline.

Did you perhaps buy this game on another console? If so you'll need to do a license transfer. Simply sign in on your console, press the guide button and go to the Settings blade, here pick Account Management. On this new screen you will see the license transfer
option.

Follow the instructions and soon the licenses will be transferred. Then just set the game to download again, don't worry about the download time as because the game is already on your hard drive all that will be grabbed is the new license file.

Licenses for games can only exist on one console at a time. When you transferred the licenses to the living room console all of them moved over there so anyone can play and use the content at any time.

The console in your room can access the content only by your account or by others so long as your account is logged in to the console.
