Trouble connecting Xbox One to Xbox app (Windows 10)

I've searched the internet-- no one has a similar problem to mine.

Note that both my computer (Windows 10 Dell) and Xbox One (fully updated) are on wired networks, and I am unable to disconnect the Xbox One from the wired connection, as it would cause me more pain than to spend some time doing this. Furthermore, my original
post.

I am unable to connect my Xbox One to the Xbox app on my PC. I have taken action and have attempted at checking to see if Smartglass connections are enabled, etc. and everything needed is present, but still can not connect my PC to my Xbox One. I'm obviously
missing something, and at this point, I can only think it's a Windows 10 problem, though that may not be the case. Could anyone give pointers?

Hi, I've tried to connect my Xbox One to my Xbox app on my computer, I've done everything that's needed but nothing is happening. It worked a couple of days ago, I could play on the computer screen but now it just wont work for me. It only says "Turn on" to
turn on my xbox but its already on and when I press it nothing happens. I tried removing it from the list and search again but now it can´t find it, I tried to write in my IP adress for the xbox one but it says it cannot be found. The Xbox one and my PC is
connected to the same network as well and I really don't know what to do right now so I would appriciate some help.

My xbox loses the connection when I am broadcasting with the windows 10 xbox app. And also with another Xbox app (Android and Windows 10).

After this last update. Right after 5 minutes I'm having trouble with the Xbox App for Android and Windows 10.

Only after restarting the console does it work again.

I have the same problem it seems that the xbox server doesn't recognize my profile... i don't have another account so we can't play minecreft

 

I should also note I have tried many suggested actions Microsoft and Xbox support over Twitter have given me. No luck there.

Hiya, i did what someone said about a different problem by typing services, scrolling to the 3 windows xbox at the bottom of page. changing them to start and automatic. There are other settings there that may help you i hope.

PeterPopper666, this seems not to work as I can't do anything with said 3 Xbox services, because everything (start,stop,pause,preview, etc.) is grayed out.

 

Good afternoon, Goreystep. May I ask what version of the app you're running? If you have the latest version of both the normal app and the beta app, and you're experiencing this issue, I would suggest submitting feedback through our beta app.

 

I'm using version 9.9.28033.00000. Not sure how to check if I'm using the beta app.

 

Goreystep, visit the Windows Store (hit the Windows key and then type "Store." Then search for "xbox." You should see a result (currently 7th from the left for me) titled "Xbox (beta)." Install that and try that out.
