    Trouble connecting to xbox live


    I've just got a xbox about a few hours ago and I'm having trouble connecting to xbox live because I've downloaded my old account because I've remembered the details but to connect I need to accept the new terms of agreement but to do that it says I need
    my parent to accept it like type in the password they put in to proove it's them, the person who put it in was my dad and he's no longer here and he never told me what it was.. And I'm 18 now but is there anyway I could reset this so I don't need parental
    proof or whatever it is to log on to xbox live?

    Sorry to hear it. If you are 18 then you can promote your account to adult.

    support.xbox.com/.../promote-child-account

    However, if the age that was placed on the account is under 18 then you will need to contact your father to get the password from him so you can accept the terms.

    Sorry to hear you're having connection trouble. Seems to be a connection trouble with the XBOX Live servers. I am having the same problems too. Please be patient and hopefully it will be back up soon.
