Trouble connecting to wireless network with 360 after getting xbox one

I have no idea why my xbox 360 is doing this but it won't find my network. I know all the basic troubleshooting things to do and none are working. What is so strange is that my xbox 360 is having trouble finding any networks at all (including mine). So if
I hit scan again like 5 times in a row it will eventually find my network and connect to it with full bars.. Around 30 seconds later it will disconnect again. Can someone please tell me what to do to fix this.

Side note: this started happening after I got an xbox one. I actually disconnected my xbox one to see if it would fix it and it will not. Also I have gotten some pop ups on my mac telling me that another device is using my IP address sometimes when the 360
connects. I am using the slim I think it is called. I is the 1st black one they released. The wifi is built in.

Thanks ahead of time to anyone that helps me out.

    :)

How to Configure and test your Xbox 360 wireless Internet connection

After you have connected the Xbox 360 Wireless Connecting Adapter to your original Xbox 360 console, you have to configure and test the wireless connection.

    Steps to Follow

    1. On your controller, press the Guide button and proceed to Settings, then choose System Settings.

    2. Go to Network Settings then select the name of your wireless network.

Note: If you do not find your wireless network, go to Advanced Options and then select Specify Unlisted Network. Proceed to enter the name of your wireless network, after which you will be asked to select the security type.

    3. Enter your wireless network password.

    4. You will get a prompt to update your console software. Select Yes.

    Still Not Connecting?

If you get a connection error message after these steps, you should try using the Xbox LIVE Connection Solution to fix the problem.

If your wireless network is not listed in Step 2 above, you can read about how to Improve Xbox Live Speed.

    Wireless connection.....please help.

    Welcome Chizzy!

The Xbox 360 Slim that you have bought for your son has a wireless N network adapter built in. So, simply turn on the console and go to Network settings. Choose your wireless network from the comprehensive list of available wireless network and type in the
password for your wireless network and that's it.

Trouble connecting to wireless network with 360 after getting xbox one

So I am an idiot. I have a turtle beach headset. I knew that the sensor caused the 360 to have issues connecting but I started plugging it into something else. I should have known that it was the reason. I always thought that it was because it was directly
plugged into the 360 that it caused the issue. I feel dumb.

    Thanks.

    XBox wireless problems

I'm sorry that you're having trouble with your Xbox 360 wireless adapter. A flashing green light indicates that the adapter is attempting to connect to a wireless network. When you try to connect to your wireless network, does the console prompt you to connect
an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, or does it recognize the adapter but display no wireless networks in the list?

Xbox 360 slim keeps disconnecting, built in wireless issues?

    Hey there Shannananan!

Sorry to hear about the connection troubles.

You mentioned that you got a message on your Xbox 360 saying "To use a wireless internet connection, connect an Xbox 360 wireless adapter to your console". It seems like your Wireless Network Card is faulty.

The only fix for this is to send your Xbox 360 for repair. You find more information about the Xbox Repair Service and how to do this
