trouble connecting to sea of thieves

Sea of thieves is connecting and disconnecting every 5 minutes. I connect thru wifi with a Netgear Nighthawk router. Thanks

troubles uninstalling sea of thieves

So I recently hit around 5 gigs of hardrive space left and decided to delete SOT to free up space, so I went into apps and deleted the game. After "uninstalling" it no longer shows up in apps and features I still have 5 gigs of space left, so its clearly
not gone since the game is 21 gigs. I started with checking recycling which was empty, then I searched miscellaneous files on my c:drive that typically have leftover files and nothing. So i started searching forums and found nothing on microsoft/xbox about
this issue at all. So i google searched and found that i am indeed not the only one with the problem but its only found on reddit and other odd forums. Nothing has helped thus far though, even when i found out where the file supposedly is i cant access it
despite admin powers. At this point it's rather irritating, i uninstalled Overwatch to install SOT and wanted to do the opposite now.

You may be experiencing a bottleneck scenario where many gamers would connect the game server. To isolate this better, do try to play a different online game and see if the same issue would persist. If not then it could be the game server of Sea of Thieves.
If possible, do try to connect your console to your router through wired. Then see if it'll make any difference.
